Multimodal Ganzfeld effect

So what is the Multimodal Ganzfeld effect? basically it's the deprivation of sensory information on both the eyes and ears resulting in the brain amplifying neural noise in order to find something to process. The noise then gets interpreted as visuals and audio resulting in mild auditory and visual hallucinations.

Let's get started

I'll start off with a quote.

"If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern." - William Blake

I've been a bit late starting my blog, because i'm a bit nervous about the feasibility of the whole thing but there comes a time when one just give it a bash so here I am.

What is my project?
I'm attempting to create a working EEG which in conjunction with the multimodal Ganzfeld effect will hopefully induce mild hallucinations. So that's it. I'll post more detail here later but you can download my complete proposal here
